18 great cards!

Oh wow!  It's been a super long, but really productive day!  I'm happy to announce that I have designed all 18 of the cards we're making at the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack on November 2 and 3.

All 18 cards are unique!!!  That said, some layouts are identical and I changed the main image OR the colours OR the orientation of the cards.  I love that you will go home with 18 different cards, but it won't be hard for you to get them all done - I promise!  I do most of the work so you can just create and have fun.

We're using many different embossing folders and dies at this class.  We're using designer paper, glimmer paper, rhinestones, pearls, heat embossing and lots of ribbon.  I was careful to design different kinds of cards: elegant, pretty, vintage, contemporary and just plain cute!

I have lots of room left in my Saturday morning session.  The Friday night and Saturday afternoon are almost full.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving my friends!

I hope you are having a wonderful day with friends or family or just doing something you really enjoy.

I am thankful for so many things in my life: my darling boys, my loving family, my amazing friends, my fabulous students at school, my outstanding Teaching colleagues, stamping, reading, autumn colours, squirrels, birds and YOU.  I am so very thankful for wonderful people like YOU who fill my life with creativity and kindness.  Thank you for being part of my life.

Sweet little project!

Hi stamping friends,

I have been having so much fun planning and having stamp camps that I have been neglecting my blog!  Sorry about that!

I plan to have the most recent stamp camp projects photographed and posted on my A+ Projects site by the end of next week.

I am already working on the next few classes' projects so I'll post here and email you soon with dates!

Creating with Friends

Whoops!  It's been a few days since I posted!  So sorry about that!

My good friend came over last night and we worked on the cards we're making at next week's "Pop On By" class.  It was so fun to experiment and share ideas with someone else.  We made a terrific mess in my Craft Room and had a lot of fun.

Many of us craft alone, including me, but I also really love to craft with others, which is why I hold classes.  It's fun and social for me.

I KNOW you're going to love the cards we are making next week!

If you haven't signed up, I can fit about 3 more people on the Thursday night session (Thurs, Sept 13).  Let me know if you're interested!  I am already planning classes for October and November, so if you can't make this one, there will be more coming up!

Pleasant Poppies Class Registration Deadline

Hi friends,

Please remember to contact me by Wednesday at NOON if you want to attend my Pleasant Poppies Class.  I am ordering the stamp sets that day so I need to have exact numbers.

I am THRILLED with the registrations I've been getting for the classes.  Technically, the classes are full, but I can always set up more tables or find a bigger venue, so if you're interested in coming please let me know!  The Poppies Class can be purchased as a kit, so if you are unable to attend, but want the set and/or projects, that's an option for you.

Upcoming stamp camps

Wow!  I am thrilled with the response to my upcoming stamp camps!

If you haven't signed up yet and are thinking about it, please let me know because I believe I will need to split the "Pop On By" class into 2 evenings to avoid overcrowding.  (I'm so glad so many people can attend!)

Here are the details of my next two classes:

1)  “Pop On By” Card Class
“Pop on By” and make some cards with me!  I have SO MANY project ideas that I am going to have a number of these “pop on by” card class evenings this fall so you can just make some great cards for your stash!

Cost: 6 cards for $20 (**Free with an order of at least $40)
Date: Friday, September 14 (I may open a 2nd date if this date fills up)
Time: 6:30
Place: my house (2901 Robinson Street)

Contact me by Monday, September 10 to sign up for the class.  Payment is not necessary until the night of the class.

If you find a new-to-me friend to attend the class with you, you will receive a free gift from me!

Cancellation Policy: Since I have to purchase the stamp sets in advance, if you sign up but end up unable to attend, you can choose to either pay me for the entire class and receive it as a KIT OR find someone to take your place OR you can just pay me for the stamp set portion of the class.

Fall plans...

Hi friends,

I have some new specials/deals/offers for the fall.

The first is a Stamp Class reward card.  You will actually receive a little card from me and when you attend one of my Stamp Camps or Classes, you will get a "punch" (or maybe a small stamp - I haven't decided yet!).

After you attend 10 of my events, your next class is FREE!  No matter what the cost of the next class, it will be free.  It's a pretty straightforward discount card, but I'll try to write some details about it in the Events and Specials section of this blog in the next few weeks.

The second is an Order rewards card.  For every $25 you order you will receive a "punch" or "stamp" from me.  If you place an order and the merchandise amount is only $24, it won't count.  If it is at least $50, you will get 2 punches.  That part is pretty clear.

It gets tricky when I offer a class with an ordering special (ie: the class is $25 or FREE with a $50 order).  In this situation, if you decide to place a $50 order, you'd get the class for free AND get a punch on the Stamp Class reward card, but you would NOT get 2 stamps on this card.  You can't use both cards.  I suppose you could decide to just use this card and NOT the other card also.

There are a few more details to share about it, but again, I'll put it on my blog at a later date.

The free gift (there wasn't room to write it on the card) is a stamp set of your choice worth up to $20!!!

I have also worked out the details for my Fall Online Club and am really excited about it!  I have designed a sweet little pamphlet with all the details.  I will post about this another day.  

I have a LONG list of Stamp Classes I want to have this fall, so be prepared for information about them soon.  I just need to figure out dates and details and I'll let you know!
