Milk...

Well, here's a technique I have NEVER tried...

Click here to visit Lydia Fiedler's blog - Understand Blue - and read about stamping with MILK on your projects!

Lydia is wonderful.  She is funny, genuine and uber creative.  I have met her several times and she is amazing!!

She uses a special kind of white cardstock for this card.  I am not sure how it would work on other cardstock but I'd love to find out!!  Let me know if you try this technique.

Have a great day!

My next purchase!

So, the Envelope Punch Board is the NEW BIG THING that Stampin' Up! has released and it is proving to be a lot of fun.   I had a post about the Envelope Punch Board a while ago so scroll through my posts so you can read more details about it.  Not only is this tool great for making ANY SIZE envelope you need, but you can do other cool things with it!

Check out this video, made by Patty Bennett, showing how to use this tool to make "file folder style" cards.

I love it!  I wish I had been able to do this when I made Brody's Spy Birthday Party invitations in August!  I made file folder cards and had to make a template and trace it onto cardstock and cut it out by hand each time.  This is much faster and cuter!

Here's another video, made by Catherine Pooler!

Here are some cute cards make using the same tool!

This cute card was made by Robin Feicht.

This was made by Catherine Pooler.  Her tutorial is above .

Amy Storrie made this card.  It's actually a Gift Card holder.  The sides are attached and you pull out the "yippee skipped" insert to find the gift card!

This card was made by Angie Juda.  Quick, easy and fun for Hallowe'en.

I guess you know what I'm getting with MY next order!!!  :)

Have a great weekend,
Andra

Photopolymer Projects

Hi,

Stampin' Up! is currently offering four stamp sets in Photopolymer, which means they are completely see through.  They cling beautifully to the acrylic blocks and are easy to use.  They are flexible, so you can even curve the images to suit your needs.

Here are some cute projects made using these Photopolymer Stamp sets.

1)  Designer Type Stamp Set - $16.95 - 132956:

2)  Bombs Away Stamp Set - $16.95 - 133411

3)  Show & Tell 1 ($16.95 - 133450) and 2 ($16.95 - 133481)  Or you can both sets along with an exclusive Photopolymer online class as a bundle ($43.95 - 134533)

I lumped these ideas together because they used combinations of stamps from both sets.

I hope you enjoyed these fun ideas today!

Have a great day!
Andra

ps - you can look back through my blog for more specific information on these stamp sets.

Lovey-Dovey

Another post full of love for you!

Made by Amy O'Neill.  I just love everything about this card.  It's perfect!

Made by Rita Wright.  I love the bold colours and masculine feel of this card.

Made by Jill Hilliard.  I love these little treat holders she made using the Two Tags Big Shot die.  She used TWO of the same tag, scored them and adhered them together to make a sweet little triangle box.  Just play with the idea a bit and I'm sure you can figure out something similar!  So cute!

Made by Robin Merriman.  This card has more "going on" than some of the other cards I've shown you, but I really like it.  I like how my eye sort of travels around the card, looking at each section.  I really enjoy fine artistry and this is a lovely example of that.

Made by Debra Currier.  Great layout, great use of accessories, an all around fabulous card!

Made by Shirley McAvoy.  I love Crumb Cake cardstock, so my eye was instantly drawn to this card.
I like the way she used the doily die as the anchor for her main heart image.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed your three-day stroll down Lovey Lane with me!  I wish I had more hours in the day to create all the projects I want to make!  Hopefully you find some time to create something lovely this week!

Wishing you a perfect weekend,
Andra

More sweet stuff

I have some more Valentiney ideas to share with you today!  Hope you're inspired!

Made by Natasha Zandbergen.  I just love the layout, her use of accessories, everything!  It's a perfect card!

A sweet and simple card made by Heather Summers.  The hearts are die cut OUT of the front panel and the DSP is behind the main panel.  A fun and simple technique.

Made by Rita Wright. Wowza - I love the bold colour scheme of this card!  LOVE!

Made by Dannie Graves.  I think this is a super idea!  She took several layers of red tissue paper and die cut them with Stampin' Up!'s Hearts Framelits.  She stapled them together so they wouldn't shift and then she scrunched up the top few layers to add the dimension.  She used dimensionals to attach the hearts to the card base.  I LOVE this idea for adding amazing texture to a card!  I will have to get some red tissue paper and try it!

Made by Heather Klump.  I just adore the way she used the new Umbrella set (from the Spring Mini)  on this card.  I love the different colour hearts and the way she has them bouncing off the umbrella.  Simple, yet so artful.
I hope you enjoyed the ideas today.  I'll have more for you tomorrow!

Have a lovely day,
Andra

Valentine Time

Well, it's that time of year: the time for pink, red, lace, hearts and all kinds of lovey stuff.  I have collected quite a number of Valentine card ideas in the past little while and thought I should share some with you.

Enjoy!

Made by Mindy Backes.  I just love the way she used those hearts!
(by the way - the "create with connie" image up in the corner is NOT on the card - it's just
to identify the website she was working with)

Made by Heather Summers.  It uses a heart doily from the More Amore DSP and new fabric from the Spring Catalogue.

Made by Rita Wright.  I LOVE the different textures she has on this card!  Great colour scheme too!

Made by Tessa Wise.  I just love how she filled the little jar with hearts.  Fabulous and fun!

Made by Dawn Olchefske.  It's clean and simple and perfect!

Made by Ilina Crouse.  I think this one is really interesting.  I love all the empty space she left on the card.
It really forces your eye to look right at the greeting.
I hope you like these ideas.  Come back tomorrow for more!  :)

Feeling Sentimental - SAB set

Here are some fabulous projects that use the upcoming Sale-a-Bration set called "Feeling Sentimental". I was immediately drawn to the old-style British phone booth.  It reminds me of the trip to England I took in 1991.

Here are some ideas using this vintage, sketchy style set.
Made by Mary Fish.  Clean and simple. Go to her site to view the cards individually.
Made by Sandi MacIver.  Beautifully vintage.  Go to her site to read more about how she made these cards.

Made by "nancitay" from Splitcoaststampers.  I was unable to find her website.
The greeting is from "Vintage Verses", which is another great SAB FREE pick!

Also made by "nancitay".

Made by Christine Miller.  The greeting is from "Pretty Petites", and is punched out with the "Petite Curly Label Punch" BOTH of which are FREE SAB picks!!

Made by Kimberly Van Diepen.

I really like the look of this set.  It's nice to see that you can have a "sketchy" looking set and NOT have to colour it.  Just stamp it in a colour and you're good to go!

Have a nice day!
Andra

ps - Paper Share orders are due TOMORROW by NOON.  :)

Soda Pop Tops!

What a cute and inexpensive new embellishment!  The Soda Pop Tops (129388) are only $4.95.  You get 16 in total - 8 of each size (big and small).

Here are some sweet ideas using them.

Made by Laura Mellinger. This is the small Soda Pop Top.  This card also uses the Tea for Two DSP and a whole bunch of other new stuff!

Another card by Laura Mellinger.

Made by Susie Wood.

Click here to go to her blog to see how she FLATTENED the Soda Pop Tops!

Made by Denise Henderson.  She used the same technique to flatten the Soda Pop Top.

Made by Jenn Tinline.  Another flat Soda Pop Top.
What a fun little embellishment to add some dimension to your cards!

Enjoy your day,
Andra

Border Scoring Plate for the Simply Scored Board

Stampin' Up! made a great little video showcasing how to use this new add-on to the Simply Scored Board.  I know you'll love it!

The Borders Scoring Plate is item #126192 and is $19.95.

Here are some project ideas that use the Borders Scoring Plate:

Made by Barb Mullikin.  The detail is at the bottom of the Whisper White cardstock.

Made by Monika Davis.  The detail is on the So Saffron cardstock.

Made by Angie Leach.  The detail is on the Crumb Cake cardstock.

This plate looks like a fun addition to the Simply Scored Board!  I guess I'd better get it!  :)

Shelli's sweet samples!

Hi stamping friends,

Check out this cute video of Shelli Gardner (CEO and Co-Founder of Stampin' Up!) sharing sweet little ideas that use the two Valentine bundles that are on sale until January 21.

Please keep in mind that this is a US video, so the prices she mentions are slightly lower than our prices.

Shelli Gardner sharing sweet projects!

Hope you're inspired to make some cute little projects!

Here are pictures of the projects she showed.

These are projects using the single Valentine stamp that's available in the bundle.
You get 25 of the little 1x8 bags in the bundle.

These are sweet little projects using the My Little Valentine Stamp set.
The cards are probably 3x3 so the stamps are small.

See this post for all the original information on these special January deals!

Have a wonderful day!
