Holiday Catalogue!!

Hi everyone,

The brand new Holiday Catalogue goes "live" today!  I have paper copies here, so if you don't have one yet, let me know and I'll get one to you.

In the meantime, you can go see it online through my business website (click on the link above) or by clicking here.

As you flip through the catalogue, you may notice this:

This is a very cool new feature of the catalogue!  If you download the app, you can turn your paper catalogue into an interactive book and watch videos and see more ideas.  So cool!  Note that you can go to the website to see the videos also, in case you don't have a device that allows you to use this feature.

It's a beautiful new catalogue chocked full of fun new stamp sets, fabulous dies for the Big Shot, new punches, new ribbon, embellishments and more!  You'll also find a lot of "kit" projects - the Banner Kits and additions for Halloween and Christmas (fabulous!!!) and the Christmas Simply Sent kits are beautiful and great time savers. There are other cute kits like the Goodie Gear kits and the Stamp a Tag Kit (great gift idea!)  In fact, you'll notice lots of items that will make gift giving quicker and easier for you!

I'm planning projects now so I'll be ready for my busy fall and Holiday season!!

Enjoy checking out the new catalogue and if you see items you want to order now to get a jump start on fall projects, I'm placing my next order on August 5.  Contact me by 6:00 pm to have your items included.  You can ALSO order ONLINE anytime through my business website! :)

Have a great day!  (Keep checking the blog - I have info for you each day this week!)

Bloomin' Bouquet Kit

It's so much fun to check the Stampin' Up! website every day - I often get a pleasant surprise!

This morning, I went to the website and saw that Stampin' Up! has introduced a sweet new kit that is available starting today!!!  It's so fresh and Spring-y - I love it!

Click here to watch the great video of how to put these flowers together.

Here is the information from the website:

Mother's Day. Teacher appreciation. Just because. Say thank you with this no-maintenance bouquet. There's no watering, no weeding-just enjoying. This easy-to-assemble kit comes complete with the petals, stems, and buttons to create the flowers, as well as four different tags to make this the perfect gift for any occasion. All you need is some paper, ribbon or a vase to add the finishing touches to the bouquet.

As if that weren't enough, the kit contains a "baker's dozen"! This means you can create and give (or keep) a dozen flowers, and have a bonus flower left over to pass along to someone new! Give it to someone you wouldn't normally think of: a teller at the bank, a grocery store clerk, or the librarian at your local library. Anyone you encounter on your way that you'd like to give a little "thank you" to-and introduce them to Stampin' Up!

Ordering information:
Item 134542 $15.95
Available starting April 29, while supplies last.
Kit contents:
  • 2 sheets of preprinted and precut flowers on 12" X 12" cardstock; makes 13 flowers using Pool Party, Gumball Green, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Rich Razzleberry
  • 13 Vintage Faceted Buttons
  • 13 green floral wire stems
Adhesive not included. (Glue gun recommended.)

Remember that I'm ordering tomorrow (April 30).  If people are wanting this kit for a Mother's Day gift, let me know because I could expedite the order and get it here in just a few days!  :)

Happy Monday!
Andra

ps - See yesterday's post for more reminders about this last order date in April.

Lovey-Dovey

Another post full of love for you!

Made by Amy O'Neill.  I just love everything about this card.  It's perfect!

Made by Rita Wright.  I love the bold colours and masculine feel of this card.

Made by Jill Hilliard.  I love these little treat holders she made using the Two Tags Big Shot die.  She used TWO of the same tag, scored them and adhered them together to make a sweet little triangle box.  Just play with the idea a bit and I'm sure you can figure out something similar!  So cute!

Made by Robin Merriman.  This card has more "going on" than some of the other cards I've shown you, but I really like it.  I like how my eye sort of travels around the card, looking at each section.  I really enjoy fine artistry and this is a lovely example of that.

Made by Debra Currier.  Great layout, great use of accessories, an all around fabulous card!

Made by Shirley McAvoy.  I love Crumb Cake cardstock, so my eye was instantly drawn to this card.
I like the way she used the doily die as the anchor for her main heart image.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed your three-day stroll down Lovey Lane with me!  I wish I had more hours in the day to create all the projects I want to make!  Hopefully you find some time to create something lovely this week!

Wishing you a perfect weekend,
Andra

More sweet stuff

I have some more Valentiney ideas to share with you today!  Hope you're inspired!

Made by Natasha Zandbergen.  I just love the layout, her use of accessories, everything!  It's a perfect card!

A sweet and simple card made by Heather Summers.  The hearts are die cut OUT of the front panel and the DSP is behind the main panel.  A fun and simple technique.

Made by Rita Wright. Wowza - I love the bold colour scheme of this card!  LOVE!

Made by Dannie Graves.  I think this is a super idea!  She took several layers of red tissue paper and die cut them with Stampin' Up!'s Hearts Framelits.  She stapled them together so they wouldn't shift and then she scrunched up the top few layers to add the dimension.  She used dimensionals to attach the hearts to the card base.  I LOVE this idea for adding amazing texture to a card!  I will have to get some red tissue paper and try it!

Made by Heather Klump.  I just adore the way she used the new Umbrella set (from the Spring Mini)  on this card.  I love the different colour hearts and the way she has them bouncing off the umbrella.  Simple, yet so artful.
I hope you enjoyed the ideas today.  I'll have more for you tomorrow!

Have a lovely day,
Andra

Valentine Time

Well, it's that time of year: the time for pink, red, lace, hearts and all kinds of lovey stuff.  I have collected quite a number of Valentine card ideas in the past little while and thought I should share some with you.

Enjoy!

Made by Mindy Backes.  I just love the way she used those hearts!
(by the way - the "create with connie" image up in the corner is NOT on the card - it's just
to identify the website she was working with)

Made by Heather Summers.  It uses a heart doily from the More Amore DSP and new fabric from the Spring Catalogue.

Made by Rita Wright.  I LOVE the different textures she has on this card!  Great colour scheme too!

Made by Tessa Wise.  I just love how she filled the little jar with hearts.  Fabulous and fun!

Made by Dawn Olchefske.  It's clean and simple and perfect!

Made by Ilina Crouse.  I think this one is really interesting.  I love all the empty space she left on the card.
It really forces your eye to look right at the greeting.
I hope you like these ideas.  Come back tomorrow for more!  :)

Happy Hello - SAB Kit

I love card kits.  I think they they are a fabulous option when you have to make a card quickly.  However, you can also be super creative with them and make projects other than the ones suggested.

One of the free Sale-a-Bration choices this year is a Simply Sent Kit called Happy Hello.  You get everything to make 8 cards, including an instruction sheet so it's easy for you to make the cards.

I found some great projects online showcasing OTHER cards and projects you can make with this kit.  In all cases, I have directed you to the Demonstrator's site so you can learn how to make the project!

Enjoy!
Made by Carolyn Serviss.  Click here to see what else she made!

Made by Kimberly Van Diepen.  Click her to see the other great cards she made!

Made by Jenny Moors.  Click here to see her website for more details on the projects.

Made by Marelle Taylor.  Click here to see a sweet little purse idea too!

Made by Barb Mullikin.  Click here to go to her website. She posted a PDF of instructions on how to make this box!

Have a wonderful day,
Andra

Feeling Sentimental - SAB set

Here are some fabulous projects that use the upcoming Sale-a-Bration set called "Feeling Sentimental". I was immediately drawn to the old-style British phone booth.  It reminds me of the trip to England I took in 1991.

Here are some ideas using this vintage, sketchy style set.
Made by Mary Fish.  Clean and simple. Go to her site to view the cards individually.
Made by Sandi MacIver.  Beautifully vintage.  Go to her site to read more about how she made these cards.

Made by "nancitay" from Splitcoaststampers.  I was unable to find her website.
The greeting is from "Vintage Verses", which is another great SAB FREE pick!

Also made by "nancitay".

Made by Christine Miller.  The greeting is from "Pretty Petites", and is punched out with the "Petite Curly Label Punch" BOTH of which are FREE SAB picks!!

Made by Kimberly Van Diepen.

I really like the look of this set.  It's nice to see that you can have a "sketchy" looking set and NOT have to colour it.  Just stamp it in a colour and you're good to go!

Have a nice day!
Andra
