Photopolymer Projects

Hi,

Stampin' Up! is currently offering four stamp sets in Photopolymer, which means they are completely see through.  They cling beautifully to the acrylic blocks and are easy to use.  They are flexible, so you can even curve the images to suit your needs.

Here are some cute projects made using these Photopolymer Stamp sets.

1)  Designer Type Stamp Set - $16.95 - 132956:

2)  Bombs Away Stamp Set - $16.95 - 133411

3)  Show & Tell 1 ($16.95 - 133450) and 2 ($16.95 - 133481)  Or you can both sets along with an exclusive Photopolymer online class as a bundle ($43.95 - 134533)

I lumped these ideas together because they used combinations of stamps from both sets.

I hope you enjoyed these fun ideas today!

Have a great day!
Andra

ps - you can look back through my blog for more specific information on these stamp sets.

New Catalogue Shares

Hi everyone,
I sent this information out as an email this past week.

Here is the information on the NEW SHARES I am offering.  Please note that my preferred date for signing up is MAY 30.  However, the final date is June 5.

The new Designer Paper, Ribbon and Accessories are fabulous so I'm sure you'll appreciate getting your hands on these products at a good price.

Here is the information I sent out earlier this week:

I have LOVED looking at the new Catalogue these past few weeks (it begins officially on June 1).  There are fabulous new colours, stamp sets and accessories available and in order to help you try new things right away WITHOUT "breaking the bank", I have developed some Shares for you.

For those of you not familiar with "Shares", they work like this: I order product and divide it equally among a certain number of people.  I will continue to buy shares (until deadline) based on how many people sign up for each share.  I will include details about the number of people I need to fill each share below.

However, let me worry about filling the shares - you just check it out and let me know ASAP if you want in on the shares.  I know many of you have not seen the new catalogue yet, so this may feel like a tricky decision.  Trust me though - I would not suggest the shares if they weren't worth it because they're a lot of work for me!!  (ha ha!!)  You will love the new products.

Better yet, if you purchase all THREE of the shares, you will get a special FREE share of the NEW In Colour ribbon and "Boutique Details" (think: decorative buttons with no holes)  I love the new In Colours so you'll love getting this FREE share!

*** I have two order deadlines for the shares.  The first is Thursday, May 30 (I'd love to have most of the Shares ordered on this date because I will expedite that order and have more time to cut and prepare them for you!).  The second and FINAL date is Wednesday, June 5.  I will NOT expedite that order so it will take a bit longer to get to you.  All you have to do to order the shares is EMAIL me with the shares you want (and if they are single or double in the case of the DSP or ribbon shares) and that's it!  No payment is due until the Shares are ready to give to you! ***

Here are the shares I am offering for the 2013-2014 Idea Book & Catalogue:

1.  Designer Series Paper (DSP) share:

The new Catalogue has 13 packs of DSP.  The new designs are FABULOUS and diverse in style.  I love them!  A Designer Paper Share is a GREAT way to get your hands on all the new designs right away.

Here are the prices and details.
Purchase a 6x6 share for all 13 packs (you will receive all 78 double sided paper designs) for $26.00
Purchase a 6x12 share (a double share) for all 13 packs (78 papers) for $50.00

8 single share purchases (double shares will just count as two singles here) are needed to fill this share.

2.  New Ribbon share:

There are 17 new ribbons designs and colours in the new Catalogue!  In order to help you try these new ribbons inexpensively, I have come up with a "new ribbon share".

Here are the prices and details:

This share includes all new ribbons:
- all 12 3/4" Chevron Style colours (Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Marina Mist, Pear Pizzazz, Smoky Slate, Pumpkin Pie, Wisteria Wonder)
- Pear Pizzazz 3/8" taffeta
- Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo 1/8" taffeta
- Soft Sky seam binding
- Blushing Bride 1/4" stitched grosgrain

1 yard share (you will receive 1 yard of each of the new 17 ribbons) - $25.00
2 yard share (you will receive 2 yards of each of the new 17 ribbons)- $46.00

9 single share purchases (double shares just count as two singles) are needed to fill this share.

3.  Accessory share:

Buttons, Brads and Dots, Oh my!  The new Catalogue features all new styles and colours of buttons.  A share is a perfect way to get your hands on all of them right away so you can see what you love and need to buy for yourself!  Coloured brads are now gone, BUT Stampin' Up! has a new product called Candy Dots and they are like a flat brad top with adhesive on the back (similar to the rhinestones and pearls) that you can adhere to your projects.  There are also "Candy Dot Brad Bases" so you can make your OWN coloured brads!  What fun!!!

This share will give you one of each colour and style of button (you will receive 72 buttons) and 2 of each colour of Candy Dots (40 colours, so you will get 80 in total) and you will get 6 of the brad bases to try.

Here are the details and the price:

Buttons - you will receive 1 of each colour and in each style, so 72 buttons total
Candy dots - you will receive 2 of each colour (40 colours in total, so 80 dots for you!)
Brad bases - you will receive 6 brad bases that you can put your Candy Dots on to make custom colour brads!

1 share - $22.00

4 share purchases are needed to fill this share.

Some of my favourite retiring stamp sets...

This is always a tough time of year - saying goodbye to old products, even though I know there are really wonderful ones coming!

Here are ten of my favourite retiring stamp sets (and, in my opinion, there really isn't anything like them in the upcoming catalogue (in effect June 1) ):

* Artistic Etchings - page 124
Well, I was just getting into the Vintage look and this was a set I liked to use.  I love the key, I love the decorative circle shape, I like the Eiffel Tower.  I am holding on to this one!

* Aviary - page 101
You know, it's not a set I used that often, but it's really fun.  I like the birdcages.  In fact, I made a wickedly cool Hallowe'en card last year with the birdcages and black CROWS in them.  Neat.  I will hold on to this and hopefully use it more.

* Button Buddies - page 40
Love buttons?  You MUST have this set!  I love the pig, the flowers in a vase, the baby rattle...well, all the images actually!  LOVE it!

* Circle Circus - page 99
I will be holding on to this set because I love the gender neutral nature of these fun circles.  I think they are just great decorative elements.  Quick and easy to use!

* Curly Cute - page 138
ACK!  I LOVE this greeting set!  I have used it so much this year.  I am holding on to this one and I recommend you consider it before it's gone!

* Day of Gratitude - page 27
As I said in yesterday's post, I love autumn, and I really do love this set.  I love the greetings and I especially love that large, decorative medallion/flower image.  It is wonderful.

* Dinoroar - page 64
PERFECT for kid's cards!  I love the card sets I have seen where you just stamp the dinosaur in black ink and then include a little pack of crayons so they can colour their own images.  What a fun idea for a birthday party goodie bag!  :)

* Elements of Style - page 113
Really...you need those roses.  You really do.  They are just delightful.  Easy to colour and they are so pretty!  The other images are great too - but those roses I LOVE!!

* Greeting Card Kids - page 14
Again, a vintage-y style set that is just so sweet.  I think the teacher in me fell in love with the little school girl and boy first of all.  I've also had fun with the sweet little winter girl.  I'm not a great watercolourer, but I have enjoyed this set and will be holding on to it.

* Made For You - page 44
Such a small and simple greeting set, but I have used it a lot!  If you like having a variety of greetings on hand, this one is great and it won't "break the bank".

(oops - I was only going to mention ten, but I can't help myself...just a few more....)

* Nature Walk - page 79
Oh, I love those eggs, that bird, the bee, the butterfly - I love this set.  Can't say enough about them.  I made a sweet card set with it a couple of years ago and it's still one of my favourite projects.

* No Peeking - page 23
Oh, I know that Stampin' Up! will WOW me with great new holiday sets when the Holiday Catalogue comes out, but I am NOT DONE with this cute set.  I love the penguin and the snowman.  So cute.  I really like it for it's fun nature, but it's also just super easy to use.  Lots of great bold lines when you stamp so that it's easy to add colour.

* Perfectly Preserved - carryover from the Holiday Catalogue
As I mentioned yesterday, I am just not quite done with some of these carryover items.  I will be holding onto this set and the coordinating die set that is also retiring (Cannery dies).  I love the jar and I love the apples.  It's all good, but those are my favourites.

Well, everyone has different tastes and different styles, and these are far from all of my favourites that are retiring, but it gives you an idea of what I love and am not parting with.  I think I had about 50+ sets on this retiring list so I have to part with quite a few.  I stamp for enjoyment, however, so many of these sets just have to stay with me!

Remember, I'm placing an order on Wednesday at NOON if you want anything.  My next order date will be the end of May.  After that, the retiring stamp sets and accessories will be GONE and we'll be celebrating the introduction of the new Catalogue!

Have a perfect day!
Andra

Some of my favourite Retiring items...

Hi everyone,

I've been super busy lately and haven't posted a lot!  Sorry about that!

Well, for today's post, I thought I would list ten of my favourite retiring accessories.  I have checked to make sure that they are all still available in case you want to purchase them before they are gone!

I am placing an order on WEDNESDAY (May 15) so contact me by noon if you want anything.  My next order will be at the end of May.

Click here to view the Retiring Lists via my business website.

In no particular order, here are ten of my favourite retiring accessories:

* Stampin' Up! fabric
I do not sew, nor do I even own a sewing machine, but I have used my Big Shot to cut out fabric flowers to make magnets and pins.  I also used strips of fabric instead of DSP or ribbon on cards.  I LOVE that the Stampin' Up fabric coordinates with our DSP designs and colours.  I love the quality of the fabric and it's a GREAT price because it's all around 40% off right now.

* Shimmer Paint
I love the Shimmer Paint.  The Platinum, Frost White and Champagne are all still available on the retiring list. I use the Frost White a lot.  I mix a few drops of it into a small spray bottle and add some rubbing alcohol to it to make a shimmer spray.  I made the Dressed Up Birthday kit cards (ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT) the other day and I sprayed them with the same mixture but with Champagne Shimmer paint.  It added a soft, warm vintage-y looking glow to the cards.  Great product!

* Paper holders
You know, I think I like ORGANIZING my craft stuff as much as I like USING it!  I do love the 8 1/2x11 and the 12x12 paper holders.  I bought several more of each size so I could store my retired DSP, my sheets of chipboard, my "kits" and more.  They are very thick plastic and really durable.  I think I might get 2 more of the 12x12 size just in case...  :)

* Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies
WHAT!?!?  They updated the retired accessories list since the last time I looked and they included the Cannery dies, the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits dies from the Holiday Catalogue.  I really love all three of those products, but the Holiday Ornaments will be missed. I shall hold on to them and the coordinating stamp set (which is still available to buy right now as a carry over from the Holiday catalogue).

* Fancy Favour BIGZ XL die
I HAD to have this BIGZ XL die as soon as it was released several years ago.  It's a great sized box.  It holds 3x3 card sets, chocolates, little gifties.  You can cut them out of so many different materials!  I do love it.  I will MISS it!

* Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder
I love embossing folders.  I have all of Stampin' Up!'s folders and will NOT be parting with them - even if they retire!  I do love the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  It is classy, vintage-y and adds such a lovely accent in seconds!

* Scallop Envelope BIGZ die
I do like this die.  I don't use it often, but I will NOT be parting with it.  It's a sweet little envelope that is perfect for little lunch notes for your children or for adding ticket stubs, journalling, etc to scrapbooks or your "This and That" journal.

* Designer Buttons
I love the current button designs and will miss them.  I love buttons!  I'm happy that buttons do not take up much space because I HOARD them!!!

* Lucky Limeade
This is a retiring colour that I love.  In fact, I wrote in three cards this past weekend - one for my Grandpa's birthday (turned 88 today!), one for my Mom and one for my Grandma for Mother's Day.  ALL THREE cards used Lucky Limeade.  I thought that was kind of funny considering I did not make them all this past week.  I do love this colour and will miss it (although I LOVE the new colours)!!

* Comfort Cafe DSP
I love all DSP, but I really do like this package.  I love Autumn - it is my favourite season.  I love the way this DSP mixes colours like Cajun Craze, Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit.  I love that it has Masculine designs and super feminine florals.  Some designs are kind of funky, while others are quite traditional.  It's a great pack!  Some of my other favourites are Storytime and Twitterpated.  Stampin' Up! always has great DSP.

Tomorrow I will list ten of my favourite retiring stamp sets.  They don't sell out until the end of May, so you'll be able to get them right until the end.  The accessories, on the other hand, sell out based on availability, so it's always hard to know when that will be.

Have a wonderful night!
Andra

ps - I have product shares coming up - watch for DSP, ribbon and accessory shares for the new catalogue!  It's a GREAT way to test new products without "breaking the bank".  Details will come soon!

ps - don't forget about the amazing starter kit deal on right now!  You get $195 of product for only $125!  Super great deal!  Contact me if you're interested!  :)

New In Colours

Hi my friends,

On June 1 the brand new Catalogue is in effect, and with it, we get 5 BRAND NEW In Colours, along with the 10 new (or returning) colours as part of the Colour Refresh.

These new In Colours are delightful!  I know you will love them!

If you go visit Mary Fish's blog, she has a sweet little card showcasing the 5 upcoming In Colours with some of her colour comparisons so you can get an idea of what they look like.

http://www.stampinpretty.com

She has a few other sneak peeks on her blog - new stamp sets, accessories, etc!  :)

Speaking of new stuff, I am going to have a DSP share, new Ribbon share and Accessories share.  I will be sending that information out soon because I want to order those products June 1!  I LOVE the new products and I am excited to offer shares so you can get your hands on all of them right away!

Have a great day!
Andra
