Convention news: Congratulations Catherine!

Well, here we are at Convention in Salt Lake City!  Gisele, Dayna and I arrived yesterday afternoon and did some shopping.  That was fun.  We met up with my upline, Catherine and other members of my sideline later in the evening.

Today was "check-in" day and we also went on a tour of the Riverton Head Office, which is where the shipments are all packed and sent and also where all the big creative decisions are made.  It's a really neat place.  I can't wait to show you the pictures of the warehouse!  It's amazing!!!  I'll try to post pictures tomorrow - my camera battery is charging.

We also got to shop at Memento Mall today, which is where Demonstrators can buy a lot of fabulous items with the Stampin' Up! Logo on them.  There were t-shirts, water bottles, sticky notes, pens, magnets and lots of other fun stuff!

I had fun picking out gifts for YOU at Memento Mall!  Anyone who places an order of at least $50 by July 23 will receive a special Convention gift from me.  You can place the order online through my business website or you can contact me by NOON on July 23 to have your order included.

The big fun of the day came when we went to check in at the Awards Booth.  My fabulous upline, Catherine Sanders, signed up directly with Stampin' Up! 10 years ago when the company expanded to Canada.  She was the 112 person to sign up.  Today she received a Founder's Circle award, which means she is one of the Top 20 Demonstrators in Canada. They do not tell you if you're going to receive that award (although she was hoping!) so it was a wonderful and exciting surprise!  I am so glad I get to be at Convention with her this year to watch her receive her award!

I received two awards: one for reaching 100,000 in total career sales (I hit that amount in November) and I also got an award for reaching over 20,000 in sales this year.  Although I do purchase lots of fun stuff for myself, I want to thank each and every one of you who helped me reach these amounts.  Although they aren't as exciting as Founder's Circle, I'm proud to get them.

I had some fun chatting with many amazing Demonstrators who inspire me on a regular basis.  I have pictures that I will add as soon as I get them on my computer!

I had lovely chats with the following lovely people:
(follow the links to their blogs!)

Patty Bennett
Angie Juda
LeeAnn Greff
Lydia Fiedler (who has a picture of me on her blog!!!)
Jan Tinklenberg
Diana Gibbs
Corinne Somerville

It's been a big day.  Tomorrow is the official start of the Convention and I'm looking forward to hearing all the big news and being inspired by beautiful projects!  I'll update with pictures soon.

I should have a blog candy gift for you by Friday.  Keep watching this blog to find out about it!

I hope you have a wonderful day!
Andra
